Originally from Spain, Sara Leonor has worked as an interior designer and furniture maker in London since 2006.
Her London studio, which is situated at 149c Upper Street, Islington, was given a makeover in 2020 and we were delighted to be involved.
For the shop front, we laser cut a sign from timber and vinyl cut the smaller lettering, as well as making the colourful logo design for the window display.
For the window’s central piece, we laser cut Perspex in a variety of shapes and colours that were then hung in a specific way to form Sara’s logo when viewing straight on.
For the installation, we made a bespoke hanging system with brackets and cables to make it easy to change the display in the future, should Sara wish to.
