Bybrí is the jewellery brand created by Irish designer Bríanan McCloskey.
Brí works mainly with gold, sterling silver, bright acrylics and semi-precious stones, creating handcrafted jewellery that is contemporary, clean and fresh looking.
We have worked with her on many projects, mainly laser cutting frosted Perspex in various colours and shapes such as the green deco bar necklace or pink and orange small hoop drop earrings.
When laser cutting such small delicate pieces, we have to be incredibly precise and this applies not only at the actual cutting stage but also when interpreting the artwork and drawings we receive from the designer.
From experience comes an eye for detail. Our team apply this quality control attitude throughout the whole process from looking at initial drawings and sketches to delivery of the final intricate shapes.
Brí cuts and files all her metal by hand and we think it works beautiful sitting with the sharp, clean and simple lines of the frosted acrylic!
