Spanish artist and sculptor, Saelia Aparicio lives and works in London. She graduated from the Royal College of Arts in 2015 and has an MA in Sculpture. In 2019 she won the prestigious Generaciones Award for emerging artists in Europe.
Saelia’s work mainly consists of large scale free-hand mural drawings and sculptures that are commissioned and exhibited worldwide.
One of her latest series of functional sculptures were these amazing bespoke chairs that we CNC’d out of 18mm Birch Plywood. We adhered the pieces together to form the chairs and then Saelia individually coloured each one with stain dye and Chinese ink.
